Born in Kingston, PA on May 13, 1939. David was the child of the late Wilbur Nesbitt and the late Helen Kunda.</font></p><p class="MsoPlainText" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><font face="Calibri">Following 3 tours in Vietnam and 20 years of service, David retired from the U.S. Navy as a Senior Chief Sonarman. After his honorable service, he was employed by IBM for 15 years and retired as a Program Engineer.</font></p><p class="MsoPlainText" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><font face="Calibri">In 1994, David and Joanne became residents of Brevard County. David was an active member and founder of the USS King Association, a Plankowner and a proud member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary.</font></p><p class="MsoPlainText" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><font face="Calibri">He is survived by his wife of 50 wonderful years, Joanne; children, Robert and David Nesbitt; grandchildren, Stephen, Christina, Danielle and Lauren Nesbitt; and several nieces and nephews. David will be truly missed.</font></p><p class="MsoPlainText" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><font face="Calibri">He was preceded in death by his sister, Jacqueline Cherry.</font></p><p class="MsoPlainText" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><font face="Calibri">A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11AM on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Ascension Catholic Church in Melbourne.<o:p></o:p></font></p><p> </p>
